Tonight Pastor Phil continues in Romans, Chapter 8.
Romans Chapter 8 is one of the most comforting chapters in the Bible—in fact it is God’s prescription for troubled hearts. Tonight we are studying one of the most encouraging and comforting of those verses. It requires us to know God's character, trust Him at His Word and know He has our life in His hands, and for His grand purposes. It's comforting to know that He has known us all along, and has plans for us...
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren."

Paul chose Rome for a reason when he went out to preach. Firstly, because God had sent him, but because Rome was a central 'point of the world' as 'all roads lead to Rome'. So if he shared the Gospel there, whomever received it would carry God's Word, and the testimonies of Paul and the work they'd seen done out into the four corners of the world.
Often referred to as the Gospel according to Paul, and the greatest book ever written, Paul's letter to the Romans will become our focus as Pastor Phil continues to lead us through the Word of God.
