The Importance of A Strong Support System
Pastor Phil BallmaierKing Saul continued to struggle over what appeared to be the future king-to-be in David. Out of anger and jealousy he continued to look for ways to take him down, including throwing a sword at David as he played worship music for him.David continued in his faithful devotion to The Lord, and that honored God. The Lord even chose Saul’s own daughter Michal to help him escape the wrath of her father, while in the meantime, David sought out the counsel of his dear friend Jonathan, and mentor, Samuel the Prophet.
Who on earth has the Lord given you as a spiritual, grounded mentor? May He surround you with those who would help you walk accountable, encouraged and built up for the work He has for your life.
